About us
This is a community for those who care about their code, who want to improve their craft and help others improve theirs.
It is for those who take pride in what they do and who, as Software Craftsmen and Craftswomen, want to raise the bar of software development. It is for those that think that being average is not good enough and are passionate about technical excellence.
Our events will include code retreats, dojos, talks, group discussions and social gatherings. Any programming language is welcome and all levels of experience are welcome too.
The Manifesto for Software Craftsmanship:
- Not only working software, but also well-crafted software.
- Not only responding to change, but also steadily adding value.
- Not only individuals and interactions, but also a community of professionals.
- Not only customer collaboration, but also productive partnerships.

Hands-On with jj: A Git-Compatible Version Control System
Yodeck, 1 Lykourgou Street, 10551, Athens, GRTired of `git rebase` conflicts? Wish you could edit your commit history without fear? Join us for a hands-on introduction where we'll cover some `jj` basics and get to use it in action!
`jj` is a modern version control system that's compatible with Git but designed from the ground up to be: simpler and easier, but also more powerful ! Pretty bold claim, right ?
In this hands-on session, we'll explore:
- What jj is and why developers are excited about it
- Basic jj commands and how they compare to Git
- Setting up and using jj with Git repositories
- (yes, you can use it on your existing projects!)
- (and, no, the rest of your team doesn't have to adopt it!!)
- Core workflows: creating commits, viewing history, and making changes
- A quick look at what makes jj different (automatic commits, simpler history editing)
What to bring:
- Your laptop (ideally with `jj` installed )
- Curiosity about alternative version control workflows
Who should attend: Developers of all levels who use Git regularly and are curious about modern alternatives. Whether you're frustrated with Git's complexity or just interested in exploring new tools, this workshop will hopefully entice you to try out something new that will spice up your daily workflows!
No prior jj experience required—just familiarity with basic version control concepts.
