AFS Monthly Meeting

(Atlanta) Atlanta Freethought Society President Laura Ross announced today that AFS will have another world-class Zoom meeting for December. AFS will once again host an internationally known speaker, this time Johno Pearce, a noted philosopher, teacher, atheist writer, blogger (“A Tippling Philosopher”), and speaker. (Pearce is not to be confused with philosopher Charles Sanders Peirce, if for no other reasons that their nationalities, philosophies, first names, and last name spelling differ—and plus, Peirce died in 1914 and refuses to tell us squat). Pearce has written quite a few books, including fiction and one especially telling title, The Nativity: A Critical Examination (2011; a suitable basis for December talks), and has a growing pan-oceanic following.
