Cocktails for a Cause
Join JCI Atlanta and several of Atlanta's leading organizations for young professionals as we come together for our annual fundraiser benefitting Wellspring. This year, we will feature and open-bar and complimentary appetizers included in your ticket price. Complimentary Valet is available but we also encourage ride-sharing. There will also be a raffle and door prizes during the event. More About Cocktails for a Cause Cocktails for a Cause was founded when JCI Atlanta discovered a need to help out a kids camp, Camp Independence of the National Kidney Foundation, who was about to close its doors to due to a struggling economy back in 2011. Several YP groups were already discussing co-hosting a big event where we could bring everyone together, in one place. Since CFC was such a success with 500 people in attendance and raised over $10k in its inaugural year, we decided to make it an annual event. In 2013, we raised funds for Camp for the Blind of the Georgia Lions Club which netted nearly $12k and saw 700 - 800 people in attendance. In 2014, we repeated the success with our fundraiser for Camp Horizon. In 2015, we raised over $14,000.

    What we're about

JCI is a nonprofit organization of young active citizens age 18 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities. Active citizens are individuals invested in the future of our world. JCI gathers active citizens from all sectors of society.

We develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions and take action. As globally minded young people, we all have rights, responsibilities and share goals. We find targeted solutions to local issues benefitting our communities, our world and our future. Embracing new ideas, collaboration and diversity, we have the passion and courage to address the critical challenges of our time.

Locally, our mission is to positively impact the Atlanta community by providing young professionals opportunities for networking, community involvement and leadership advancement. The Atlanta Jaycees is an organization of young professionals that provides a wide range of activities. Members can participate in community service, business networking, leadership development and social events. Membership is extended to individuals age 21- 40. We have played a vital role in Atlanta's growth and prosperity for over eighty years.
