What we're about

Join us to talk about Robotics. Showcasing robotics, robots, software, and hardware to power collaborative robots, industrial, and even hobbyist/DIY.

We meet monthly to connect and showcase the robotics community in Atlanta anf beyond!

Monthly meetings feature industry speakers and practitioners along with the latest startups and early stage companies. Come learn with us.

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.” Steve Jobs

Atlanta Robotics Meetup - ONLINE

Online event

Please join us for our 24rd Atlanta Robotics Meetup ONLINE featuring a presentation from Ruddick Lawrence!

We wanted to host a physical event but based on changing Covid conditions, we will postpone physical events for now.

His quick bio: Ruddick Lawrence is the co-founder and CTO of Rapid Robotics, which is bringing intelligent robotic automation to simple manufacturing tasks. Ruddick has spent his entire career working in robotics and manufacturing. At Intuitive Surgical, he led the manufacturing software group for all robotic end effectors for the da Vinci, the most-used surgical robot in the world. Ruddick's group wrote calibration and testing software for over 30 instrument types representing tens of thousands of shipped products. Subsequently, he was the VP of Engineering for Carbon Robotics, where he led the entire engineering team in building a robotic arm. Ruddick has a BS and MS from Stanford in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on mechatronics.

We will be discussing how Rapid Robotics is making robotic automation affordable and accessible.
