Scafell Pike, England's Highest Mountain FULL

Scafell Pike is the highest mountain in England, at an elevation of 978 metres above sea level. It is located in the Lake District National Park, in Cumbria, and is part of the Southern Fells.

Not only is hiking up Scafell Pike modestly challenging, it has invariably been described as exhilarating, beautiful and breathtaking.

Atlas Discovery Tours is offering the challenge to hit the peak of the UK 3 highest mountains in 2020.

The date of this tour has been amended sadly due to COVID-19, but I have negotiated with the hotel to enjoy this tour on the 14 - 17th August 2020.

In addition our visit to North Wales for the Snowdonia climb is now on the 24 - 26th July 2020. Subject to government guidance.

We stay in a delightful 3 Star hotel in Keswick, the perfect base for both Scafell and two other local guided walks including; Walna Cragg and Latrigg Fell.

The terrain offers high level walking on certain paths but no scrambling. Medium fitness is vital and you should be accustomed to mountain walking.

The tour includes:
3 Star Hotel Bed & Breakfast in heart of Keswick for 3 Nights
Saturday Guided Walk to the top of Scafell Pike
Sunday Approx 8 mile walk from the hotel to include Walna Cragg and Castle - Rigg Stone Circle.
Monday Approx 6 miles to include a beautiful section of the Cumbria Way plus Lattrigg along the river Greta.
