What we're about

"Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vow a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come." ~Inscribed on Rumi's Shrine in Konya, Turkey~

The mission of Auburn Reiki Center is to create a Sangha (spiritual community) of Reiki practitioners for the Auburn area and other surrounding regions.

Our intention is to provide a safe place where those who are devoted to practicing Traditional Japanese Reiki can gather to receive training and support in order to develop and deepen their individual Reiki practice. To this aim, we provide regular, ongoing monthly Reiki Circles as well as Reiki training in all degrees and levels.

Additionally, we believe we may be the ONLY Center dedicated solely to the practice of Reiki in our area.

Anyone with an interest in practicing or learning more about Traditional Japanese Reiki is welcome to join our Reiki Sangha.

You must pre-register and pre-pay for all classes. Reiki Circles are FREE, but your $10 per person suggested gratitude donation will be greatly appreciated. No one will be turned away for lack of funds for Reiki Circles.

WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US!!

Community Reiki Circle-Everyone is Welcome!

Auburn Reiki Center

Reiki Circles are open to EVERYONE, whether you are a practitioner, teacher, or just curious. All participants have the opportunity to receive reiju (attunement) in order to either deepen their exisiting Reiki practice or to experience giving and receiving Reiki for the first time. Note: This is a temporary attunement and is NOT the same as is given during a certification class. We start out with introductions and news and sometimes CAKE if there is a graduating class. Then attunements are given. Next we do "Mawashi" which means Circle. Participants stand in a circle, and one by one, each individual sits briefly in the center while everyone else "beams" Reiki at them. This is an AMAZING experience, NOT to be missed!!! Next, we set up the massage tables. One person will lie on the table for approx 10-15 minutes, while others lay gentle Reiki healing hands on them. Each person will have the opportunity to be on the table. This way everyone will be able to experience both giving and receiving Reiki. We end the Circle with closing Mawashi, but this time, no one sits in the center. Reiki Circles are a fun and joyous, social occasion and talking, laughing and questions are encouraged. So, tell your friends, neighbors and countrymen!!! This will be a night of talking, laughing, crying, learning, sharing Reiki with each other, and generally hanging out. Reiki Circles are supported by your $10 per person suggested gratitude offering. NO one will be turned away for lack of funds. EVERYONE is WELCOME! No previous experience is necessary! Please join us!

Shoden (beginners/1st degree) Reiki Certified Practitioner Training

Auburn Reiki Center

$245.00

Shoden (beginners/1st degree) Reiki Certified Practitioner Training Two Consecutive Saturdays: 1 pm to 6:30 pm (both days) Reiki is a simple, effective healing practice that promotes balance, relieves pain, anxiety and stress, and improves overall well-being. People practicing Reiki often report improvements in sleep, digestion, focus, and memory, and other benefits which vary from person to person. People who use Reiki during chemotherapy or radiation report fewer, lighter side effects. There are no known medical contraindications and Reiki is safe for all ages. The word “Reiki” is derived from two Japanese words: "Rei," or universal, and "Ki," or life energy.
