[MTB] [E-BIKE MTB] NEW YEAR'S EVE AT NAPIER

Let's be second* to see the first sunrise of 2022.

• Gisborne has the earliest sunrise but Napier is seconds behind

Sunny Napier is famous for wineries, apple orchards, art deco architecture, craft breweries, gannets at Cape Kidnappers, the Havelock North farmers market, stunning beaches and cooling waterholes.

Napier and Hawkes Bay also have some of the Best mountain biking around.

Possible activities include:

• Eskdale Pan Pac MTB Park
• Tukituki River Trail and Gum Tree MTB Park
• Day trip to Wairoa MTB Park and Mahia Peninsula
• Havelock North farmers market for New Year's Eve goodies
• Bike a wine or craft brewery trail
• Waimarama surf beach
• New Year's Eve - no events are advertised yet so TBC

ACCOMMODATION
We are staying at the Napier Beach Kiwi Holiday Park - right on the pebbled Napier beachfront. The address is pinned on the map below.

Unit/cabins - there are still limited spaces in units and cabins so if you get in early you can stay in comfort. Beds in units are available on a first paid, first in basis.

ACCOMMODATION UPDATE 19 NOVEMBER 2021:
There is only one cabin bed available. There are still motorhome and tent sites available.

Motorhomes - there are still powered and non-powered sites available. Please book these yourself. Accommodation in Napier for New Year's Eve is filling up fast, so don't leave it to the last minute.

Camp sites - there are still camp sites available. Please book these yourself. Even tent sites become hard to get toward NYE, so book early to avoid missing out.

DATES
Dates are flexible and depend on the availability of accommodation. The units are booked from 28 December to 3 January so we will need people to stay in these for the full 6 days. If you can book your own accommodation for a shorter or longer stay that is fine.

RIDING:
We will ride together at venues, but may split into groups (E-BIKES, Intermediate and Social?)

E-BIKERS - you will need an E-MOUNTAIN BIKE and must have mountain biking experience.
