A meetup in two parts: Being the content person in a project-driven world

Details
This meetup is all about projects, and it's a two-parter.
First up, our own Emma Knight is getting ready to take the stage at Wellington's World IA Day (http://wiadwellington.com/) later in February, so we'll be treated to a sample of the presentation she's putting together for that. Emma's going to talk about the time she co-designed what content should go where with users for the Ministry of Social Development.
That will lead into part two, in which we open up the floor for a free-form sharing session. Yes, that means you get the chance to tell the rest of us a thing or two. We'll be talking about projects of any sort (not just IA) and how you see content fitting into them:
• How do bigger projects accommodate content plans where you work?
• Where do you start? How do you work out what the content-related parts of a project should be?
• And who do you work with? When there are different people with all sorts of different skills working together, who can you depend on?

World IA (Information Architecture) Day (http://2015.worldiaday.org/) is an international day of free IA-related events. It's happening all over the world, including Wellington (http://wiadwellington.com/). As it happens, it's the day after Webstock, so there might be some sore heads there. Not Emma's, though. She's totally onto it at all times.
This will probably be our last BNZ-hosted meetup for quite a while. If you've seen organiser Michelle lately, you've probably guessed that she has some maternity leave coming up very soon. That's great news for her, but it means we're losing our organisational tie to BNZ. We're snooping around for new venues (and drinks/snacks sponsors) for future meetups. Let us know if you have any bright ideas :)
Reckon you could take Michelle's place in our little organisers' enclave? Your main duties would involve joining the other two of us for lunch every few weeks. That and helping think of fun and interesting things to do with Auckland's finest content minds.
