Light to Light Eden NSW 3 day coastal walk easy - 12th of feb to 15 of feb

You will need snacks for Friday and we will have a few stops along the way for food n toilets and you can bring or buy dinner down and eden or cook dinner where we are staying on Friday night.

ITS A MUST THAT YOU BRING YOUR SWIMMERS - A LIGHT WEIGHT TOWEL AND A HAND FISHING ROD IF YOU LIKE.

Light to Light is an easy multi day walk 31 km of undulating coastal path, actually some do it in a day, some do it in two but the standard walk is in 3 days (well 2.5 actually) its a gorgeous coastal walk, no big steep hills just gentle stuff and perfect for an introduction to overnight walking.

As we are doing it in 3 days we arrive at campsites early enough to enjoy a fish, swim, relax and enjoy the lovely remote campsites, we should be in at Green Cape Lighthouse at the end of the walk around lunchtime for our drive home...

Includes transport from Sydney! Fuel is by kitty and collected as we go and as needed but should be minimal. Need 8 for this trip to go ahead.

Fee of $240 applies which covers transport, leader and Friday night camping and two nights on trail camping.

Fee will be payable to me your leader.

Begin this multi-day walk at Boyds Tower down the NSW far south coast, and end at Green Cape Lighthouse. Stop for a swim and the opportunity to spot seals, seabirds and whales.

Light to Light walk hugs the coastline between historic Boyds Tower and Green Cape Light station. It’s one of the best walks on the far south coast of NSW. The views are stunning and ever-changing – from heathland to forest, tea tree groves to banksia woodlands, and sheltered coves to towering red-rock platforms. Plus, with so many seafront vantage points, you can spot seals, seabirds and whales.

Aussie Explorers its organisers and leaders accept no liability during this meetup, leaders try to ensure the safety and well being of members at all times however as this is a weekend away travelling, exploring different areas and hiking in the great outdoors accidents happen, please take responsibility for your own safety and your belongings.

As this is a 2.5 day walk you will need to be self sufficient with camping gear, please bring food & snacks for 3 days breakfast (Saturday, Sunday & Monday) lunch (Saturday, Sunday) dinner (Saturday, Sunday) Any questions please ask

Pick up is at Central Station 09:00 sharp for our long drive to Eden, if we have time a visit to the whale museum but dinner in town, then camp overnight before doing a car shuffle Saturday morning and starting our walk about 10:30am to our first nights camp. Day two is a much more relaxed afair starting around 9am and walking to our campsite by lunchtime, plenty of time to fish or swim before settling in for the night. Day three is a short walk out to our car a quick car shuffle and off on our long drive home Light to Light completed!
