This time we are lucky to have Ryanne Dolan, Principal Software Engineer at Cloudera, talking about Mirror Maker 2.0. MM2 is the latest and greatest OSS stream replication tool coming soon to a cluster near you with the upcoming 2.4 release of Apache Kafka.

MM2 brings powerful new replication and disaster recovery features to Kafka 2.4. We'll see how MM2 enables backups, failover, failback, upgrades, cloud migration, and more!

We will start the evening with a demo from Jordan Moore. Jordan is a Streaming Expert with Avalon Consulting ( Unofficial title ) . Jordan has a short demo to introduce the concepts of Kafka Connect Simple Message Transforms using schemas as an example before we dive into MM2.
