Now, on to the hot topic for this meetup ...

The Collective has launched a research initiative focusing on how blockchain is and might play a role in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

For the first project in this initiative, we are compiling a directory of companies/initiatives/products/projects that are providing responses to COVID-19 challenges. E.g. immunity passports, contact tracing, PPE procurement, vaccine authentication, etc.

This meetup will provide a snapshot of what we have already determined to be broad application areas for blockchain and will also offer more information on this directory project and possible future projects.

If you are working on a blockchain for COVID-19 solution, or know of one, please be in contact - drop an email to research@austinblockchaincollective.com.

As usual, there will be opportunities to make shoutouts and interact with others via the online platform.

Oh, and we will have our refreshed website live ahead of this meetup!
