The Austin Blockchain Collective's January 18, 2021 Online Meetup is on "Lightning Network Basics, Lightning Pool and Shadowchains".

About the meetup:
This meetup presentation will cover the basics of the Lightning Network, a “Layer 2” scaleability protocol that overlays Bitcoin. It will also explain Lightning Pool, a non-custodial, peer-to-peer marketplace for Lightning node operators to buy and sell channels built on top of the first mainnet shadowchain.
Further, It will delve into the inbound liquidity problem, how Pool solves this problem, what a shadowchain is and why they are important for scaling Bitcoin.
The presenter will be Ryan Gentry, Business Development Lead, Lightning Labs.
