Journal Club: Representation Learning
Abay will kick off our initial foray into journal club by leading a discussion on "Representation Learning: A Review and New Perspectives" by Bengio et al. (2014). Paper link: https://arxiv.org/abs/1206.5538 The journal club is for more advanced Deep Learning practitioners and researchers. Attendees are expected to read the paper at least once and to contribute to the discussion. One more thing: The journal club does not replace our usual meetup on the second Tuesday of every month. Food and drinks will not be provided. :( • What to bring a copy of the paper (either digital or hardcopy)

    What we're about

    Public Group

Welcome to the official Deep Learning meetup in Austin, Texas. Deep learning offers exciting solutions to an array of computer vision, natural language processing, and other data science problems, made possible by faster computing, richer data sets, and open source frameworks.

We invite talks from machine learners and data scientists applying deep learning to solve problems along with tutorials and lessons learned. Talks are open to all Deep Learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, etc.) Please, no sales pitches.

If you would like to sponsor our meetup or give a talk, please let us know.
