Discover the future of Flight Automation with a drone.

Details
Next month’s special guest will be Jim McAndrew. Jim is a software architect and drone enthusiast from Austin. His passion for creating drone software started in 2014 with Autopilot, the first app for DJI drones in the iOS App Store. After Autopilot, Jim cofounded Hangar where he served as CTO until mid 2018. Since then he has been working hard to create Dronelink - a modern, connected approach to flight automation. Dronelink is a powerful medium to develop cutting-edge drone missions and a cross-platform SDK to execute missions in a safe, consistent, and scalable way. Dronelink enables a vibrant, collaborative community by applying time-tested principles from distributed, open-source platforms like GitHub. Jim will be demonstrating how to use Dronelink to unlock full programmatic-control of your drones, which will include a mission planning session, followed by a flight demonstration.
We encourage you to bring a phone, tablet, or laptop to sign up for Dronelink.com (currently free) and follow along during the talk. Please download it before you come to the event at your home or office. Wifi is not a given.
