LinkedIn Workshop: Attract Recruiters with a Strong LI Profile

Chris Villanueva (Certified Professional Resume Writer) will be conducting an intimate, 2-hour workshop on how to write a LinkedIn profile that generates recruiter interest. Chris currently runs a professional resume service (http://www.letseatgrandma.com) that has written hundreds of LinkedIn profiles for professionals in many industries. You will be actually improving your profile during the workshop, so please come prepared with your laptop to make some big changes. Here is the framework for the workshop: RoundRobin introduction. Introduce yourself, your target job, why you're improving your LinkedIn. (Opportunity to make add more connections on LI). Presentation on how to write a strong LinkedIn profile. Please see preview below for some of the actual materials that will be covered. Q&A session to end the official session. Questions will be encouraged during the session, but we will also leave a buffer at the end in case we missed anything. Actively working on LI profile under supervision of Chris. During this part of the session, you will be making changes to your profile with Chris in the room. You should be able to walk away with at least a solid framework of a better profile. Preview of Presentation: • Why LinkedIn? • Optimizing for keyword searches: choosing your headline and industry carefully • Writing a summary statement that will engage recruiters • Professional Experience section: that much different than your resume? • Choosing a picture that sells. • Supplemental Sections of the LinkedIn: Education, Skills, and more... We need to keep spots limited to just 5 so everyone can receive personal attention during the presentation. If you find a date that works for you, please reserve your spot as soon as possible! Once you've signed up here, please reserve your slot by following this link: RESERVE SPOT (https://calendly.com/projects-2/linkedin-worshop-attract-recruiters) If you have any questions about the event, please email Chris at [masked]
