I often say that hanging out with older people is like getting a postcard from your future, and who wouldn't want to read that? It's not always the easiest thing to find somebody 30 years older or younger than you, life inevitably brings us to different spaces. We’ve done the work for you, and you’re invited!
AMAGING! is a collection of five people in the Queer Qmmunity in Austin, ages 60 and older who are willing to share their stories on stage. The audience is invited to shatter their pre-existing ideas of what aging means and reimagine a future inspired by the proof in front of them.
Proof that age is more than just a number ~ it's a story and story is the thing that connects us all.

This is an online support group for LGBTQIA2S+ Caregivers and Allies caregiving for those in the community.
It is a space of peer support led by Robert Arambel, LMSW and Hetty Borinstein, LMSW Volunteer, offered by Rainbow Connections ATX.

All participants will be pre-screened to create a safer & supportive space.

It boasts the world's largest urban bat colony. Austin, the “bat capital of the United States,” is famous for its bridge-dwelling bats; 1.5 million free-tailed bats live in crevices under the Congress Avenue Bridge.
Facts About Bats in Austin:
Austin's resident bats are Mexican free-tailed bats, which migrate each spring from central Mexico to various roosts all over the southwestern U.S. On their nightly flights the bats eat anywhere from 10,000 to 30,000 pounds of insects, including mosquitoes and harmful agricultural pests.
