May Meetup: Learnings from Year One of My Lean Startup

Details
“Learning is experience. Everything else is just information.”
~Albert Einstein
One of the common questions with Lean Startup is "does it work for real entrepreneurs or is it all hype"?
Fail fast, test hypotheses, and minimum viable product are all common rally cries of Lean but how much of that really translates into making a difference for a startup? Especially if you’re a first-time entrepreneur and new to lean.
In this meetup Blake Garrett, founder of sxtyscnds', is sharing the ups & downs of diving into lean during the first year of building his company.
He’ll discuss insights into the difficulties of deciphering how much validation is needed, when to persevere or pivot, and how a simple experiment saved him from rolling $40k on a MVP. Plus, what it’s like to go from a full-time job to being a full-time entrepreneur bootstrapping your product.
Join us for what promises to be a honest account of how Lean Startup is more than just following a text-book and how Blake is validating the road that lies ahead.
Pizza and drinks provided by OtherInbox. Conference room provided by Capital Factory.
Join us afterwards at Buffalo Billiards for drinks.
