The State of Selenium

Details
The Austin Selenium Meetup is returning for 2017!
Join us to learn about the current state of the Selenium project. Selenium 3 has been released, what is and isn't included in the update and why you should upgrade if you haven't already. Learn the status of each of the Browser drivers and which ones you should be using. There is a new W3C WebDriver spec (http://w3c.github.io/webdriver/webdriver-spec.html) and we'll discuss what it is for and what it will mean to you when it is released.
We'll also talk about what kinds of testing related things you would like to learn about in future Meetups.
Titus Fortner is a core contributor to Selenium project and is the maintainer of the Ruby bindings. He is also project lead for Watir, an open source test library built on top of Selenium, and is active in supporting these projects on Stack Overflow, message boards and the Selenium Slack Channel (http://seleniumhq.herokuapp.com). Titus currently works at Sauce Labs as a Solution Architect, working with the community to facilitate testing best practices.
