Postcards for Progress Party

Let's write some postcards for our favorite candidates and party.
There is a campaign for this election to send out lots of handwritten postcards to those who may not vote or haven't voted in recent elections. This is a great idea that could reach a lot of voters in Texas. It could be much more effective than phone banking (I can write 50 cards an hour and only reach a few folks per hour on the phone on a good day).

The important midterm election is around the corner and the results will be vital for environmental causes. A very effective way to contact voters is to participate in the postcard campaign being done by various candidates. Blank postcards will be supplied for this meetup.

If you cannot join us at this meetup, then you can write postcards from the comfort of your home. All you have to do is go to one of the locations and check out some blank cards, bring them home and hand write a message in your own words, and return the cards to where you got them.

A sample message could be:
Dear neighbor;
I urge you to vote for ______ this election for better healthcare, social security, environmental protection, public education, equal pay, living wages, freedom of speech and the Press. etc
