Confluence is mainly a collaborative content sharing tool and many companies use it as an intranet portal; but there are some limitations to this. With this presentation, I will share with you how I customized Confluence to create a website styled interface without having to purchase any plugins. Discover hidden capabilities of Confluence and learn how you can easily create a seamless design to suit your needs and integrate Confluence with JIRA and other Atlassian products.
Presenter Bio:
Hi Y’all! My name is Darshini and I am a UX intern at Samsung Austin R&D Center. I am also a final semester graduate student at UT’s School of Information. I have an undergraduate degree in Architecture and have worked as a graphic designer which combined with my current degree program have built a good foundation for a ‘User-Centered’ design approach to problem solving. My goal is to find the right balance between simplicity, functionality and aesthetics.
My curious nature has led me to develop a keen interest in learning about different cultures, travelling and experimenting in cooking. When I am not trying to solve everyday problems through design thinking in my head, you will find me making memes. My mantra in life is to always look at the bright side of a problem; it always gives you a chance to think outside the box!
