Josh Rubin - an Emmy and Peabody award winning journalist, television producer, and editor with more than 15 years in the national media. Before joining Austin based Daily Dot he spent a decade with CNN covering politics, technological innovation, economic issues, and breaking news. In 2016 he founded Media ATX, an events series and newsletter with a mission to break down the silos between different communities in the Austin media scene...because none of us want to move to LA.

Speakeasy is a sprawling 3-level nightclub with nightly live music & weekend DJs, '20s-style decor & rooftop patio. Drink specials for group members and their guests: $5 cocktails and $4 beers.
