We will start with our normal Open Networking Meet & Greet from 7:00p-7:15p at Sherlock's, including beverages and delicious appetizers, compliments of Microsoft!

The after the networking session, Kevin Saye of Microsoft invites you to learn and experience how Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and IoT can secure your location and eliminate human error and false alarms.

Have you ever left your work or home and thought "Did I code the door or set the alarm?" Why should we have to worry about such mundane tasks when we have supercomputing?

Thinking about this differently, you should not have to set the alarm or close the door. With Azure Machine Learning, the location should protect itself and know, with a high level of accuracy, what is acceptable and not. In addition to normal patterns, when we have exceptions, we positively identify and categorize the event using Cognitive Services.

Imagine when a person enters a location out of the normal patter, something like Amazon Echo, Google Home or Microsoft Xbox uses video or voice recognition to positively identify the person entering. Imagine no more!

Come experience a prototype and understand how Azure can make this happen today!

Austin IoT is a sharing group. We are always looking for speakers. If you would like to present at one of our future meetups, please contact us here or speak to us at one of our meetups.

See you there, and as always, be sure to BRING A FRIEND!!!
