Announcing a new Meetup for Austin Objectivists!

What: UTOS meeting -- teleconference with Alex Epstein

When: Thursday, February 18,[masked]:00 PM

Garrison Hall
24th and Speedway
Austin, TX 78712

For the U T Objectivism Society meeting Thursday, Feb. 18th, we'll be in our regular location, GAR 2.124 (6:00 p.m.), for our teleconference with is Alex Epstein. Recently, Alex has done a huge amount of research and speaking on oil and John D. Rockefeller (the primary originator of the modern oil industry). Many of Alex's essays and lectures, as well as biographical information, are available here:

Bring your questions about any of Alex's writings -- how the oil industry developed, or is conducted and (over)-regulated now, its the environmental implications, how it relates to other energy sources, etc. Matthew at ARI tells me that Alex welcomes questions on general economics/business and capitalism, too.
