Part of our ecovillage series as Austin Permaculture Guild
In the past year we have hosted multiple events including "ecovillage basics" and "offering support to the local ecovillage community ."

We are asking for a $10 donation at the door Feel free to bring snacks!

THIS EVENT: we will co-host with a special guest speaker, Leonie Brien, director of a large ecovillage in New Hampshire called Ecovillage La Cite of NH (bio below).

Together we will explore the ecovillage movement:
>providing resources from a national and international network of changemakers
> Sharing stories and solutions from a successful ecovillage that is over 30 years old
> Hosting Q and A for ecovillage start ups here in Austin!

Hosts:
Leonie Brien:
Growing up in Cite Ecologique, a 35 year old ecovillage, she has learned and supported many successful ecologic, economic, social, and educational models that have made her community thrive. Her ecovillage has created [and currently supports] many eco-businesses and home to 130 people of all ages (100 people in Quebec and 30 people in New Hampshire).

Chloe Buzzotta:
She is currently the co-director of the Austin Permaculture Guild and previously the coordinator at the Global Ecovillage Network. She recently graduated with a BA in Permaculture and Ecovillage Sustainability at Goddard College. She also has gained accreditation and now is teaching permaculture trainings, and ecovillage design courses around the world.
