What we're about

Are you intrigued by Australian plants? We are too! Join us as we discover the secret world of native plants. We have monthly special guest speakers, we discuss best growing conditions for particular plants and have regular plant sales to fill your garden with beautiful, sustainable specimens. Our meetings are in Airport West and we invite you to come along and see just how amazing indigenous and native plants can be. Presentation topics include anything from garden design to grassland maintenance, from WA in Spring to local conservation issues. We'll occasionally post up excursions on this meet-up too.

This group is run by the Australian Plant Society, Keilor Plains (APS-KP). We welcome new members and enjoy many field trips through the year that range from a day exploring an area of Melbourne to a couple of jam-packed weekends away. (These excursions are not publicised on Meet-Up, please see www.apskeilorplains.org.au (http://www.apskeilorplains.org.au/) for more details)

More about us: APS-KP are a friendly, very active group with a wide range of knowledge. Expertise varies from the complete novice to specialists, but we all have a love of native plants and an enthusiasm to share the benefits & challenges of growing them.
