In this month's Auth0 Online Meetup, guest speaker Rory Braybrook will give us an insight into why SAML 2.0 is still one of the most widely used protocol in enterprises. Come learn all about SAML 2.0, enterprise federation, as well as OAuth and OpenID Connect and the role they play.

Abstract

There is a lot of emphasis on OpenID Connect and OAuth these days but the reality is that most enterprises are federated using SAML 2.0.

We'll have a look at the standards and the protocol, why it's still used, how it fits in with mobile and web API, have a look at the flows and tokens and see how you can use it with specific reference to Auth0.

Speaker - Rory Braybrook

Rory works as a NZ Microsoft Identity architect and is a Microsoft P-TSP, based out of Auckland. He covers mainly Azure AD, Azure AD B2C and ADFS. Plus Auth0 and identityserver. He is also the North Shore .NET User Group co-admin.
