Title: Simplifying OAuth in API Gateway with Pulumi and Auth0

Abstract: Setting up OAuth for your APIs can be tricky and time-consuming, and often as a developer you just want to focus on delivering business value. AWS's API Gateway allows you to create a fully managed collection of API resources, but there is a lot of extra glue needed to actually get it all working. Using Pulumi, we will quickly provision an API in AWS that uses Auth0 for authorization. We'll see how you can create an AWS Lambda authorizer and get back to solving true business problems.

Bio: Erin is a software engineer at Pulumi in Seattle, WA. She works on Pulumi's backend service that empowers other developers to program and manage their cloud resources using real programming languages. Previously, Erin worked on a number of DevOps teams at Nordstrom, where she developed Go microservices, their infrastructure and pipelines. With a desire to automate everything, Erin enjoys helping others embrace DevOps.
