Community Circling Night

Details
You are invited to a Community Circling Night facilitated by Brandi. Attendance will be limited to 7 people, so please update your RSVP if your plans change, even if it is last minute. A wait list is not possible due to technical constraints; please keep checking in to see if a space has opened.
What is possible between us when we reveal ourselves in the present moment?
Circling is an exploration of who we are and how we can connect moment-to-moment in a safe, loosely-facilitated group environment. As a personal and relational meditation practice, circling provides opportunities to:
- Experience connection
- Cultivate presence and self-awareness
- Develop communication skills
- Practice authentic relating
- Explore deeply-held beliefs about self and other
- Feel seen, heard and understood
Organic Circling:
Up to 7 people gather in a circle for about an hour, with group’s attention shifting organically from one person to another based on what feels most “alive” in the room. The person being circled receives the group’s full presence and is invited to speak authentically to their own experience of the present moment. The group listens and responds with reflections of what they’ve heard, the emotional impact of what was said, and deepening questions arising from their own genuine curiosities. The facilitator helps orient the discussion, holds space for the group, and may offer general guidance on the practice.
Individual / Birthday Circling:
Up to 7 people gather for about an hour, with the intention of offering their full attention to a single person for the duration of the circle. The person being circled is invited to speak to their own authentic experience of the present moment. The group listens and responds with reflections of what they’ve heard, the emotional impact of what was said, and deepening questions arising from their own genuine curiosities.
In either format, what often emerges is a meaningful, spacious group conversation that taps into our hidden emotional landscapes, the depths of our shared humanity, and the rich potential of each emerging moment. Participants often leave feeling seen, heard and understood, energized, connected and renewed.

Circling has also been described as:

- The opposite of small talk
