Avisi Techdays (Arnhem)

It's kind of a tradition now: the last Techday of the year is a Ship It Techday. We're going to work on a project and we'll ship it the same afternoon. Here's how it works: 1. Do something you like/find interesting Pick a project you want to work on. This could be something you encounter in your daily job and can't spend time on during your sprints. Or something that you just want to try out. Make sure the goal it is realistic. It can vary from 'fix that one CI build', 'cleaning up the Wiki', 'make sure every office has a trashcan', 'automating a part of your work', or 'refactor a part of your code base'. 2. Create a team Create a small team consisting of 2 or 3 persons to work on the project. This is a great chance to do some pair programming and/or to get to know new people. 3. Ship in 4 hours From the start till the end you have the chance to finish your project (or reach a certain milestone). To fuel your productivity, we will make sure there will be drinks and pizzas during the session. At the end of the session, each team will give a short 1-minute demo showing everybody what they have created.
