Security & Compliance: Core Concepts Explained

Everyone has heard the term "Security & Compliance" but how many of us understand what it actually means?

In this session, Alan will explain the concepts by relating back to risks and scenarios to illustrate what they mean to you and your organisation.

He will cover what security is and how the IT team and the security team may refer to the key features, the types of risk that the security feature mitigates, and then he'll do the same for compliance.

When you leave this session, you will have an understanding of the difference between sensitivity labels and Data Loss Prevention, when you should consider retention policies, why MFA is vital and how you can map the needs of certifications such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials to your organisation.
