Since many years we have been publishing applications and desktops based on Remote Desktop Services. Up until now environments have always been based on an Azure IaaS model, and before that hosted on premises or at a hosting facility. With Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) we can now publish applications and desktops on Azure based on a full PaaS model! Although WVD is still into public preview, there is huge interest for this service, join this session to learn why! We’ll cover how WVD is different from today’s solutions, discus the architecture, take a look at how to set it up and demo the end user and admin experience! We will also be covering FSLogix: how this acquisition by Microsoft can make a difference for your WVD deployment by optimizing the O365 experience. Micha and Freek, both Microsoft MVP’s in this area, will provide an unbiassed session based on their experience of being part of the preview since day 1!
