What we're about

Founded by Dr. Paul Foster Case in the 1920s, Builders of the Adytum (http://www.bota.org/) is a Mystery School and training order based on the Western Mystery tradition. This Qabalistic path has been described as the Yoga of the West, as it has much in common with esoteric Eastern spiritual practices. B.O.T.A. members receive lessons in the mail in Tarot, Qabalah, Spiritual Alchemy, Esoteric Astrology and related disciplines. The coursework is challenging and far-reaching and immensely practical for everyday life.

The Cambridge Tarot & Qabalah Study Group regularly meets from 8:00 -9:30 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month at the Cambridge Masonic Temple: 1950 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140. Except for an interest in Tarot and Qabalah, no prior knowledge or preparation on your part is required.

Our current study uses Paul Foster Case’s The Tarot: A Key to the Wisdom of the Ages. You may review the chapter and the corresponding Tarot Key for the current session or receive an email with a list of our discussion questions, and bring any questions or observations you may have to the group. Materials are provided at each meeting. Come and enjoy the invigorating discussions, reflections and insights. Photos of the study materials can be found now for downloading on the event page. An additional reminder email will be sent close to the meetup date.

This study group is free of charge and open to the public (B.O.T.A. membership is not required), so invite your friends, and we look forward to meeting with you at our next session. For more information about the work of B.O.T.A., please visit us online at http://www.bota.org (http://www.bota.org/). Thank you!

Builders of the Adytum is a non-profit organization.
