For the next BA/UX meetup, we'll be looking at information radiators. According to Alistair Cockburn, who first coined the term, “an Information radiator is a display posted in a place where people can see it as they work or walk by. It shows readers information they care about without having to ask anyone a question. This means more communication with fewer interruptions." The meetup will start with a short presentation examining some principles and practices behind information radiators. Following that we'll then be organising into teams to design our own information radiators in response to a specific communication challenge.
The evening will end with some discussion and Q&A.
