What we're about

If you have a love for camping and photography this is the group for you.

As an amateur photographer, my main summer passion is loading up my camera and camping gear and setting out on multiday trips to destinations that offer grand vistas and require a little work to get there. Past trips have included Mount Assiniboine, Mount Robson, Tonquin Valley, Lake O’hara, Limestone Lakes.

Members who enjoy this group do NOT have to be in prime fitness condition but will be willing to challenge themselves. Single day travel distance will depend on the outing.

Backcountry Photographers fosters an environment of community of safety.

Novice campers will find these trips outside of their comfort zone. But if you’re game, let’s chat...
