Trail Running
We will be training for the Escape from Folsom 10 miler and 5K Trail race on February 9th. Entrance in the race is not required to join us for these Saturday trail runs. Check out the race in the link below to sign up if interested. http://totalbodyfitness.com/site/race/escape-from-folsom-10m-5k-2019/ DATE/TIME: For several Saturdays we will meet at 7:00 AM. WHERE: We will meet at Willma Cavitt Junior High School, 7200 Fuller Drive, Granite Bay, CA. WHAT: The trail runners should be running around a 13 minute mile or less. We will run on the dirt trail/road along Folsom Lake and then into Granite Bay State Park along the single track trail for approximately 6-8 miles total (out and back). This meet-up is for intermediate and advanced runners. Please have a bottle of water along with you during your run to stay hydrated. WHO: This meetup is for anyone who wishes to experience trail running, increase their level of fitness, and maybe run a trail race while enjoying Christian fellowship. WHEN: We will meet at 7:00 AM for personal introductions, prayer, and a brief devotional before hitting the trail by 7:05 AM. Please fill out and submit the online liability waiver prior to the event - http://www.smartwaiver.com/v/baswaiver Please note that a current Bayside Adventure Sports Membership is required for our events. This annual fee helps offset our high insurance cost and helps keep most of our events free. For individuals it's only $25/year! Families are $50/year.
