Paddle beautiful Lake Tahoe from DL Bliss State Park to the Boat-in Campground in Emerald Bay. This is one of the most scenic areas of Lake Tahoe! We’ll camp 3 nights at the Emerald Bay Boat-In Campground to explore by kayak or SUP Lake Tahoe’s most beautiful shoreline areas and hidden beaches. The trip will be similar to backpacking, except your kayak or SUP will carry everything for you. We will try to plan activities as a group to explore Fannette Island, Eagle Point, and the Vikingsholm Mansion as well as hidden beaches and coves. Hiking options within walking distance include Cascade Falls, Eagle Lake and the Rubicon Trail. Camp Richardson is close enough for those who may want to paddle in to get a hot meal at the Beacon Grill. The Emerald Bay Beach is also a great place to swim, sunbath and relax with your favorite book.
