The perfect place to crack open some beer while comedians crack jokes & a great afterwork hangout. This show is a place for amateurs to begin Standup & veterans to try out new jokes! Q: Is the show in English?
A: YES. All American Standup Shows are always in the English language.
Q: What's the difference of a Comedy Open Mic from a regular Comedy Show?
A: Anybody who wants can go on stage at a Comedy Open Mic. A bunch of Comedians will be there, but they will be trying out jokes, because this is how Comedians find out if something is funny or not, so you get to be there at the birthplace of jokes. Often Comedy Open Mics are more casual & very funny as well!
Q: Can I perform Comedy also?
A: Yes of course! Just contact theamericanstandupshow@gmail.com if you're interested in performing. Or directly go to the event page on facebook & write "SPOT" inside the event discussion. You'll be confirmed later & will get 5minutes to start off with. Anybody can sign up!
Q: What about these Free Reservations?
A : You may reserve a seat online over Eventfrog. This will not guarantee you a seat. Free Reservations often drop out, so we cannot keep these reservations. The first come first served rule applies! We use the reserations in order to gauge interest in an event. All you need to do to make sure you have a seat; is come early!

ALAN HENDERSON
Alan Henderson was born a redneck in Mississippi and grew up knocking on your doors as a Jehovah's Witness. Possessing confidence that far exceeds his looks, education, talent, and ability, Alan mixes his Southern wit and ignorance to come to terms with growing up in a cult, life in the Southern US and Eastern Europe, fatherhood, and his own failings. Alan's dark and risque while altogether lovable storytelling has seen him headline across Europe. He regularly features in clubs through Central Europe and Dublin, and will headline “The Good, The Bad, and the Irish” at the Gilded Balloon during this years Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Alan hopes to one day own a dog, look decent in sweat pants, and win the lottery.

JUSTIN SMALLS
Justin Small, hailing from the United States of Africa America, is a common face on the Berlin standup comedy scene. Having lived in Europe, Latin America and Asia, he derives much of his inspiration from his experiences and misadventures of being an "ethnically ambiguous" black guy around the world. His comedic style combines sharp wit with intellect, personality and attitude; all tied together with a straightforward delivery.

As always we will also feature a mix of our loveable & hilarious local comedians! Come on down to Rouine Basel for an evening of hilarity, drinking and great comedy!
Tickets are cheaper on early bird, until 4 days before the event!
