BC Disrupt - a blockchain-themed unofficial conference warm-up

On the evening before one of Germany's premier tech & startup conferences begins, we'll be hosting a warm-up event that focuses on one of the hottest emerging technologies: blockchain.
Our aim: connecting communities, namely the global tech and the Berlin blockchain community.
To that end, we'll host a casual evening event with lots of room for networking and some hand-selected elevator pitch-style presentations from some of the most interesting blockchain projects that are currently happening in Germany.

Herdius, a Berlin-based startup, is working on a decentralized exchange platform for cryptocurrencies. By building an innovative blockchain that acts as a sidechain to established chains, they want to establish a fully distributed yet high-performant and scalable transaction layer in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. As a fully open sourced project, Herdius is intended as community infrastructure for the token economy.

The Melon Protocol is a fully decentralized asset management tool, which replaces a majority of fund administration and custody, enabling anyone to set up and manage a technology regulated investment fund in digital assets. The Melon Protocol is built on top of the Ethereum blockchain, but will be integrating Polkadot in later stages to allow trading of non ERC20 tokens. The Melon Protocol is intended as a common good and, thus, is free to use and does not require permission from Melonport AG.
