Pre-Robotics Workshop: Learn to Solder and Breadboard Electronics!
Soldering is an essential maker skill and one that most people can master with dedicated practice. Soldering allows you to repair electronic toys and gadgets, create your own electronic devices, and so much more. In addition to Soldering, we will be learning how to create electronic circuits from scratch on a Breadboard! "Breadboarding" is equally important as it allows Makers to try various circuit implementations (and debug them too) before Soldering a prototype. Robotics is the branch of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering and computer science that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing.

A robot is a mechanical or virtual artificial agent, usually an electro-mechanical machine that is guided by a computer program or electronic circuitry.

Robots may fall under several categories: Industrial; Personal; Modular; Aerial/Automotive and many more. It is envisioned that robots will be part of our day to day routine. We can see them cleaning clothes, mopping floors, building human settlements and cooking food for us. If you think this is the future, join us. =)
