Level 2+/3- (15 mile/500 ft) Easy like Sunday Morning with The BOBFather
ROLL at 8AM SHARP!! Join me as I slowly regain my riding fitness. The anticipated pace for this ride with be around 14-16 mph on the flats and slower on the mild climbing sections of the route. As usual we will cater our pace to the riders that attend. Of course the down hill segments will bring quicker speed but we will adjust our pace or do short regroups to ensure we ride together as much as possible. (We will be AVOIDING Soquel Canyon and Mystic Canyon.) Our Route:https://ridewithgps.com/routes/27959103 Ride classification: http://www.meetup.com/ButtsOnBikes-InlandEmpire/messages/boards/thread/48734647 My cell # is (909)[masked] if you want me to have your cell # text me at this # and leave your name. Helmets are mandatory on all BOBIE Cycling Club rides. Bring hydration, spare tube, nutrition and appropriate clothing to be comfortable during the entire ride. (The weather can and will change during the ride.) Be sure to have Sun Screen for HOT or SUNNY days. Please be sure to bring a "Road ID" or similar up to date IN CASE OF EMERGENCY INFO list with you on all BOBIE rides to allow others to help you if you are unable to help yourself. If you have a Garmin device please upload the route. Having the route on paper or in your Garmin is ALWAYS a good idea and the responsible thing to do! Bringing $$ or a credit card to pay for any unexpected expenses such as bike repairs or transportation home is highly recommended. By not having any way to cover unplanned expenses when something goes wrong YOU shift that financial burden to those that are riding with you or create a situation where you are left stranded, which can lead to awkward feelings. As with all BOBie rides this is a no drop ride. We will stop to regroup or rest, restroom and refuel as needed. Please read the description carefully to asses if your are well suited for this ride. What we're about

WELCOME!

The BOBie (Bah-bee) Cycling Club is a multi-level, recreational road cycling club based in Chino/Chino Hills (Southern California) since January 2011. Our no-drop rides, strong leadership, and welcoming spirit has helped us to grow into one of Inland Empire’s favorite cycling clubs.

We have over 20 enthusiastic Ride Leaders offering weekday/night and weekend rides at many skill levels throughout the Inland Empire, including the foothills of San Gabriel Mountains, to the coastal communities between San Diego to Santa Barbara.

WHO WE ARE NOT:

We are NOT a club that rides as one huge pelaton NOR are we a racing club. Instead, our unique multi-level rides keep our attendance at a manageable 8-25. Exceptions: Our annual picnic slow ride through town held in October, and our Tues/Thur night training rides – however the night rides do still roll out at ride levels.

MEETUP CLUB MEMBERSHIP:

Our general membership is FREE through our Meetup Site here. Club t-shirts, socks, and hats are available for purchase to our general membership at our website store here: www.bobie.org. You must "Join Us" here as a BOBie member to continue riding with our club after your first ride as a guest. Rider Insurance is not available at this basic membership level.

PREMIUM CLUB MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM:

We offer a voluntary annual membership for a small cost which is packed with perks and benefits including special purchasing programs, rider insurance, raffle programs, a premium club-level ride routing site, complimentary catered lunch at our annual club picnic, and the ability to purchase our club jersey or entire kit. Visit www.bobie.org (http://www.baniyan.com/bobie/) to review or purchase an annual Premium Club Membership.
