Trying to establish rides/interest in rides for weekday mornings in the South Hillsborough/South Shore area.

BOSS (Bicyclists Of South Shore ).

Monday, Wednesday, Friday morning road rides.Starting at Wawa or Walmart at 674 and 301, Wimauma.

Pedals down at 9:00 am (or suggest different time, will move earlier (by consensus) when trying to beat the heat.

Various routes, 30-40 miles, 14-16 overall average. 21 max. or other agreed to pace. No Drop rides. Please indicate if you plan to ride, as I may not be avail for all (out of town, etc.) and if no one responds I may change my day/time of ride.

The "standard" rides will be;
MONDAY: Tour de Parks Ruskin
Walmart-Camp Bayou-Little Harbor (optional)-Simmons Park-19th-Cypress Creek-Walmart

Also, we might alternatively do a ride out of Parrish starting at Pj's Sandwich Shop at US301 & SR62.

We are open to other suggestions from interested riders.

This Ride is a GROUP ride, so we're going to go at a steady pace aiming to keep the last rider connected. The ride leader will call out if we need to regroup at the top of a hill or at an intersection.

Critical Mass: Ruskin/ Apollo Beach is a once a month event that takes place on the last Friday of each month, Rain or Shine. We will meet at 7pm at the Salty Shamrock and ride out at 7:20pm. Must haves are a spare tube for your tire, lights, and hydration. Everyone is encouraged to have the appropriate safety gear and helmets. You're adults! If you bring kids, they are your responsibility but they MUST have a helmet under the age of 16. The routes will vary, but will always be approx.10 miles long and approx.10 mph. Everyone is encouraged to bling out their bikes, add lights, and wear costumes.
