What we're about

This is a community for Boston-area queer polyamorous women. Queer includes asexual, bisexual, lesbian, transgender, intersex, kinky, questioning, curious etc - I like it so that I don't have to come up with a laundry list of descriptors and risk leaving anyone out!

I hope this community will be used for general chat and advertising social events of interest to BQP women.

Our longtime member, Angel, is hosting the movie at her home in Malden, a short walk from the Malden Center stop on the Orange Line. Max number of attendees is 12, so please RSVP early. Angel will email the address to the attendees the week of the event, so please keep your RSVP up to date. You are welcome to bring a date of any gender if you wish. (Please include them in the RSVP!) If you wish to have snacks or drinks, feel free to bring some with you. Napkins, cups, and plates will be provided. There are plenty of seats, but bring a blanket if you'd like! The doors open at 7:30 and the movie will start at 8:00 SHARP, so please don't be later than that. The movie we will watch is "Boy Meets Girl" (2014). It's queer but not poly. Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63R5Mencf38 Synopsis: 21-year old Ricky is a transgender woman living in a small town in Kentucky with big dreams to move to New York and attend a school of fashion design. Ricky is working as a barista and spends most of her time hanging out with her only friend Robby who has been by her side for the past 15 years. One day while Ricky is at work, a woman from town named Francesca walks in, a friendship unexpectedly blossoms, which then turns into an affair. Please cancel your RSVP if you can no longer attend, so that others may. IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE! Address will be sent out the week of the movie - if you do not have your Meetup subscription enabled to receive emails from other members, Angel cannot PM you the address! Additionally, please make sure you have either met Donna or Angel prior, as this is at a member's personal home.
