We hope everyone is safe and got through these weird times fine. Given obvious circumstances, this meetup will be webinar-based.
We probably all have some projects where we thought or were told: don't worry this is just a demo/MVP/temporary. And there you are 3 years later still maintaining the same code. In this meetup, we will check how two companies tried to tackle this problem.
We have 2 talks prepared:
Talk 1: The fork, Jaka Jančar, Celtra
With the focus shift of our business, we found ourselves working on two different products, that were merged into one. So we made a decision and split the existing products into two new products. We will discuss how we approached this and what we learned in the process.
Talk 2: How to go from an MVP to an enterprise-ready product without throwing it all away, Dejan Sraka, Cleanshelf
What happens when you're building a product in MVP mode for 4 years? We know. Cleanshelf went from MVP driven product to an Enterprise solution in a year. We will discuss the challenges we faced in this battle between what is right and what is good enough.
