What we're about

Place for Baltimore area folks to share ideas and activities related to the mission of the Institute of Noetic Sciences. We are interested in the mysteries and the extraordinary potential of consciousness.

If you would like to join the group, please send an email to Jane, janenankelly@msn.com explaining your interest. We require this to prevent spammers from spoiling the experience for our members.

More information may be found at http://www.baltimoreions.org and

Join us for vibrant discussions every month and an engaging book club every other month. The times and dates of the meetings are generally:

Discussion Group: 7:00-8:30 pm, 2nd Tuesday of the month

Book Club: 7:00–8:30 pm, 3rd Tuesday of every OTHER month

Meetings are held at the Center for Spiritual Living, 362 Main Street, Reisterstown, MD, 21136. There is plenty of free parking in the lot at the back of the building. Our group hosts an annual gathering and occasional field trips, as well.

We say “Friends of IONS” because our group follows the work of the nationally based Institute of Noetic Sciences ( http://www.Noetic.org ) founded by astronaut Edgar Mitchell. Please visit their website to learn more.

The mission of the national organization is:
“Broadening our knowledge of the nature and potentials of mind and consciousness and applying that knowledge to enhancing human well-being and the quality of life on the planet.”

Given the wide range of topics and opinions that are presented and discussed during our activities, it may not surprise you that IONS notes that “Views expressed by speakers, workshop leaders and participants do not necessarily reflect the views of IONS or anyone associated with The Institute of Noetic Sciences” which, in other words, means that we foster diverse and open-minded conversations, enough that someone is bound to take an opposing view or even not like what is said!

And, unfortunately, in a litigious society, we also must share that Baltimore Friends of IONS is wholly independent of the Institute of Noetic Sciences and is legally and financially responsible for its own activities.

Enough said, now please enjoy the rest of our site and take part in our activities.

Hi Everyone,
I’m really looking forward to meeting you on August 10th!
During our time together, I’ll be sharing a brief history of Flower Essences as well as how I work with them personally and professionally to facilitate the deepest transformational and evolutionary healing. There will be an experiential component as well as time for Q & A.

I'm Jennifer Hendler, LCSW, a CIS gender Bi female, Holistic Psychotherapist and Flower Essence Practitioner. I've been on a lifelong journey of learning how to use my sensitivity as my superpower. Now I can turn any struggle into a guidepost for living a more meaningful, fulfilling, and generous life.

Sacred Community has been an essential component of my healing and all those I serve. I run 2 very successful group programs: Claiming My Voice and The Evolutionary Healers Circle.
In these programs as well as individual programs, I help highly-sensitive, relationship-focused visionaries heal through relationship and expand higher in their visions.

I live in Wynnewood, PA with my beloved husband, son, and dog Moose. My soul activities are dancing, gardening, making flower art, swimming, traveling, and all things related to holistic healing. I'm passionately dedicated to growing from every challenge, practicing healthy conflict resolution, consciously evolving through relationship, and healing through pleasure.

One of my favorite quotes is:
“The greatest gift we’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.”
-The quote is by Eden Ahbez but I heard it first in the amazing movie, Moulin Rouge.
