What we're about

Difficult economic times call for personal, emotional, psychological and (if requested) spiritual support, especially while unemployed. The Corner Community Center (CCC, formerly known as First Christian Church) wants to help. Join our Baltimore Job Hunters Support Group on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. in the Narthex. A free sandwich lunch is provided. Nancy Jeannechild and Rev. Carol Cook started this group for people hunting for work to share job hunting ideas and tips and to support each other spiritually. Sometimes it helps just to know that other people empathize with your situation. The Baltimore Job Hunters Support Group helps to fulfill the Center's mission to Enable Service, Foster Fellowship, and Encourage Education. Our group members have expressed gratitude and recommend us to others. If you know of people searching for work, please share this information with them. Questions? Call the CCC Office (410-435-1506), or the director's phone (410-627-2372), or email jobseekers@bjhsg.org. Check out our website www.bjhsg.org
