About Teddy: Teddy Goldstein is known as much for his clever songs - whether sensitive orcomedic - as for his energetic and unpredictable shows. Originally from
outside of Philadelphia, Teddy attended Boston University’s theater program before moving on to Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
Teddy began writing songs inspired by artists like Jim Croce, James Taylor,Rickie Lee Jones and Elvis Costello. “My first performance was at mybrother’s Bar-Mitzvah when I was three. I did ‘Bad, Bad Leroy Brown’, by Jim Croce. I was mostly doing covers back then.”

He began writing his own songs while in his senior year of high school.Teddy has since been a two time finalist in the Telluride Troubadour songwriting competition, as well as the USA songwriting competition. Hissongs have also been placed in numerous network T.V. shows such as NBC’s
‘Meet My Folks’ The WB’s ‘Everwood’, ‘Summerland’ and ‘Felicity’, as well as ABC’s Family Channel and NPR’s ‘Car Talk’. Teddy is currently working on a new song about the state of New Jersey where he lived for two years during
high school titled, “You Smell Worse Than Elizabeth”.

Teddy mostly plays solo with just an acoustic guitar, although sometimes heperforms with his band which he calls ‘The Goldsteins’. “I always say, nothing says Rock & Roll like Goldstein.”
