Jonah House Pruning Party

• What we'll do
Join us and the Jonah House community for a pruning party in their orchard. Jonah House is an intentional interfaith community in the St. Peter's Cemetery. They help steward a fantastic orchard that provides more than 700 lbs of fruit ever season to their food pantry and other food access initiatives in the city. We will review fruit tree pruning techniques. We'll be pruning apple, pear, fig, and cherry trees. No previous experience necessary.

• What to bring
Please bring a water bottle, pruning tools if you have them, and wear weather appropriate clothing!

• Important to know
It is late in the pruning season and some trees are starting to blossom. We will have to be careful through out the day to not prune any trees that have blossomed.
