Are you going on the Lake Phoenix Trip and want to get to know some people first? or Are you just thirsty?
The Baltimore Scuba Diving Club is hosting a happy hour at Union Brewery. This is indoors and there is food available for purchase. As always, look for the club banner to meet your fellow divers.
Hope to see you there!
Time for the Lake Phoenix’s Dive Trip. Last year was a lot of fun, so I thought we would try it again this year. Again, everyone is responsible for making their own reservations. Although it says there are no reservations needed, I suggest making a reservation for: Camper Special (Air) 2 Days Diving, 2 Nights Camping https://lake-phoenix-store.square.site/ (found under Diver Admission, gear rental can also be found on this page). If you plan to arrive after 5pm on Friday night, you will need to complete a Late Arrival request https://lakephoenixva.com/reservations/. You will also need to call before 4:30pm on Friday, if you plan to arrive after 5pm in order to get a gate code [masked]) or you will be locked out. You can call up to 2 days in advance. Please remember to complete all the waivers and videos ahead of time. https://lakephoenixva.com/forms-downloads/. The plan is to dive Saturday and complete 1-2 dives on Sunday.
The first person to arrive, please lay claim to a camping area and reach out to me via Meetup Messenger or FB Instant Messenger with information regarding the location (I will spread the word). When I arrive I will set up the white canopy with the Baltimore Dive Club sign (hopefully illuminated, if I remember). I will be taking a ½ day so hopefully will arrive fairly early. If you don’t want to camp, there are other options on the website and nearby hotels. Closer to the date I will send out information regarding food. There are fire pits available.
