May (Inaugural) Meeting!

Join us for our first meetup! We're going to have a brief 25-minute talk + 5 minutes for questions, and then 30 minutes of open forum, so bring your burning questions about Vim!
If you've got a laptop with Vim installed (or SSH access to a server that does), you should definitely bring it because it's always easier to learn by doing, but don't let it stop you if you don't!
The VLP (http://www.villagelearningplace.org/) has parking around the building and Wifi access!

• Around the File in 80 Keys (Beginner) - Stephen Belcher, 25 Minutes
For a gentle introduction to the group, we're going to start with a gentle introduction to one of the most subtle, powerful, and sometimes-misunderstood features of Vim for beginners: motion commands. By the end of this talk you should have a much better handle on how to navigate your files with Vim like a power user!
