Alma Cocina Latina is a must for the "foodie" in all of us! If you are around town for the Memorial Day Weekend, please join the group for a culinary delight as we explore the flavors of Latin America and the Caribbean. Free parking, inside and outside, is available at the Can Company.
i look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday - if you have changes to your schedule please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you. Carol [masked]) Black Ankle Wine Tasting starts at 3 PM. The current tasting includes 4 wines. There is a limited food menu for purchase to compliment the tasting that includes cheeses, olives, crackers, bread, nuts, jams, salami, etc. If you would prefer, please bring some lite fare to share with the group. Wine is available for purchase. Seating is available on a first come, first serve basis but I will attempt to arrive early and try to save some seating for us. The group is limited to 20 for the tasting and beyond that, a waiting list will be established. If you sign up, please be courteous and notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot make it so that I can notify the winery and also those on the waiting list can be notified. Following the tasting, anyone interested can participate in an "after party get together" at a location to be determined. For more information, you may visit the Black Ankle website at https://www.blackankle.com/visit-us
Come join me in my building's theater to view the movie, Bottle Shock. "Paris-based wine expert heads to California in search of cheap wine that he can use for a blind taste in the French capital." This wine snob was in for a big surprise! Bring a bottle of wine to share (French or Napa) and some easy snacks to share. Salut!
